Nobubele is a Sociology lecturer in the Department under the New Generation Academics Programme (nGAP). Her research and teaching interests are broadly located in cultural sociology, gender in sport, critical university studies and social movement theory. Her PhD research focuses on the #FeesMustFall movement and the shifts in the field of higher education in South Africa as a result of social movements overtime.
