BA, LLB, MA, PhD (Rhodes University). Thoko Sipungu is a senior lecturer in the department. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of sociology of men and masculinities, sexualities, and disabilities. His PhD research looked at the intersection of disabilities and masculinities amongst rural Xhosa men in the Eastern Cape.
